As a noted historian, Dee Flagg researched his subjects to make sure the clothing, the tools, guns, nuts, screws and bolts were all in place!  He was a perfectionist and we thank him for capturing every detail of the Old West!
This carving is of Buffalo Bill Cody.  He was best known as the man who gave the Wild West its name.  He produced a colorful show called Buffalo Bill’s Wild West and Congress of Rough Riders of the World, which had an international reputation and helped create a lasting image of the American West.  He carved with bass wood.
